Use this address for questions about how your information is used or to exercise your data protection rights.

WHAT YOU SEND US & WHY.

The interest buttons open a prepared message in your own email application. They do not submit a form to an Academy database. We receive the message only if you send it.

Your message may include your name, work contact details, organisation, role, experience, interests and anything else you choose to include. School enquiries ask for age groups and approximate numbers rather than individual student details.

We use this correspondence to answer you, discuss suitable activities or partnerships, arrange relevant follow-up and keep a record of those discussions. Our basis for ordinary enquiries is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us and organising Academy activities, taking account of their privacy rights. Where necessary to take steps at your request towards a contract with you personally, the relevant basis is taking steps before entering a contract.

Sending an enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to a marketing mailing list. Please do not send student names, medical details or child-protection information in an initial enquiry. For a safety concern, use our safeguarding reporting information.

ACCESS, SHARING & RETENTION.

Enquiry information is for the D&G team members who need it to respond or arrange the requested activity, and the email and IT service providers involved in handling correspondence. If involving a school, mentor or partner is needed to progress your request, we should agree the introduction and share only the necessary information. Enquiring does not give sponsors access to student or enquirer contact lists.

Information may also need to be disclosed where required by law or where there is a lawful need to protect someone or handle a legal claim. We do not make automated decisions about admission or eligibility through this website.

Correspondence should be kept only while needed to deal with the enquiry and related discussions. Where it becomes part of an ongoing arrangement, complaint or dispute, retention depends on that purpose and any relevant legal requirements. We review the need to retain information when the enquiry or arrangement ends; routine enquiries should not become indefinite marketing records.

Contact us for details of the email services used for your correspondence, where they process information and any applicable international-transfer safeguards. Those service arrangements are being documented as part of the Academy’s wider privacy procedures.

YOUR CHOICES & RIGHTS.

Providing an enquiry is voluntary, although we need a way to reply. You may ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion or restriction where applicable. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, and object to direct marketing at any time. Data portability applies in certain circumstances. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Email us to make a request; we may need to confirm your identity. Rights have exceptions, including where information needs to be retained for legal or safeguarding reasons. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office without having to complete an Academy complaint first.

HOSTING, FONTS & COOKIES.

The Academy’s own page code does not add advertising pixels, analytics scripts or cookies. This is not a claim that the hosting platform or your browser sets no cookies.

This website is hosted through OpenAI Sites. The platform may process technical information such as IP address, device/browser details and access logs and may use cookies for its services. See OpenAI’s privacy policy and cookie notice for its handling of platform information, including international processing.

The website loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which makes a request from your browser to Google. See Google’s privacy information. Links to schools, businesses and other external websites take you to services with their own privacy arrangements.

Browser settings can manage or remove cookies. If optional tracking or an embedded service is added in future, this information and any required choice mechanism must be updated before it is enabled.
